Applicants must possess the following:
Authorization to work in the US.
21 years of age (18 years of age for babysitting)
Fluency in English, both oral and written.
First Aid, CPR & AED certified
A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a full-time nanny or 5 years of part-time employment working in private homes or teaching experience.
A clean background check.
Exceptional childcare references that support a candidates strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and demonstrates the maturity to care for other people's families, possessions and homes.
Education or equivalent knowledge of child development.
Ability to commit for a minimum of 1 year.
A professional appearance.
Additional things we look for in our talent:
Ability to travel
Special training and certifications (early childhood education, water safety certification, special needs, NCS, Doula, etc.)
Fluency in foreign language
A two or four-year college degree
Special Needs experience (ie. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), experience with ADHA/ADD etc.)
Ability to cover occasional late night and/or overnights
