Our candidates often exceed our basic requirements in education and have years of experience in specialized fields such as teaching, tutoring, arts and creative education.
We search high and low for team players with drive, professionalism and above all PASSION. We love what we do, so we think our talent should, too!
Here is a list of some of the qualifications we look for in our talent pool, please note that most of our candidates exceed this list requirements in education, years of experience and specialized skills:
21 years or older
Legal to work in the United States
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Able to speak and write in English (ability to speak multiple languages a plus)
At least 5 years of full- time experience working in private homes in the childcare industry (including 3 years of professional nanny experience; 3 years of experience for babysitters)
Other domestic candidates must have at least 5 years of full-time experience in their field
Demonstrate a passion for applicant's field of expertise
Additional professional certifications
Outstanding verified references (3-5 total)
Ability to make at least a 1-year commitment
Clean criminal record
Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
Fingerprinted upon hire, according to state requirements (California Trustline)
Formal education preferred, but not required (2 or 4 Year Degree in Child Development or Education preferred)
Culinary skills or passion for cooking
Travel experience with children a plus
