Loving and kind first-time parents with an adorable 6.5-month-old are seeking to hire an equally kind and nurturing nanny to join their family, located in Soho, NYC. They prefer someone with at least 5 years of experience working with infants and toddlers and ideally a background in early childhood education. The nanny should understand the developmental stages of tiny humans and be able to be an extension of the parents. The ideal candidate should be comfortable and capable of organizing outings and playdates and engaging in activities that help foster language, creativity, and wonder. The parents would love to have someone who is proactive, thoughtful, open to traveling, and someone who has flexibility with their schedule. The ideal schedule for the nanny would be from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 or 7 PM, with some flexibility for travel, an occasional Saturday or late night during the week with notice.
Location: Soho NYC
Start Date: Jan 2024 or sooner for the right person.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30a- 6/7:30p a week, with flexibility for a late night or a weekend with notice
Compensation: $35- $40 an hour

Musts:
5 years or more experience working with infants and toddlers.
CPR/ First Aid Certified
Able to travel internationally and domestically.
Up to date with all vaccinations
Early Childhood background preferred.
Knowledge of working and comfortable navigating the city
Willingness to work side by side with the parents to curate engaging and thoughtful experiences for children, not limited to outings and playdates.
Able to prepare healthy meals: knowledge of food introduction and developmental milestones.
