Nanny for 8 Year Old | Park Slope BK, NYC (Local Applicants Only)

 

Seeking a nurturing and reliable full-time nanny for our delightful eight-year-old in the vibrant Park Slope area of Brooklyn. Responsibilities include engaging in creative activities, facilitating travel, and maintaining flexibility, as the schedule may vary. The family is in search of an individual who has no trouble getting around the area or taking their child to distant locations while they work on various projects. Think of navigating JFK or international airports with ease. This delightful eight-year-old is 100% creative, inquisitive, and super bright. Someone who is equally engaging is a must. This person will ideally have a four-year college degree. This ideal person may have a fully flexible schedule where they can handle each week, looking different in terms of hours, travel, and events. This position demands flexibility since the family may not require your services for a week, yet you will still receive compensation. Compensation: Starting at $35 an hour for 40 hours of promised weekly pay or DOE for the right person.

This is a unique opportunity for a very unique Nanny who can sometimes work part-time but is also open to very full time when needed. PROMISED PAY.


 Location:  Park Slope, Brooklyn
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 40 hours a week, promised hours (sometimes work less or not at all) , with flexibility for a late night or a weekend with notice and travel to fun places with notice.
Compensation:  $35- $40 an hour or DOE
Benefits Offered: Health Insurance Stipend, Monthly Metro Pass, Two weeks PTO, 5 Sick days, and some holidays
 
Musts:

  • 5 years or more experience working with school-age children.

  • CPR/ First Aid Certified

  • Able to travel internationally and domestically.

  • Up to date with all vaccinations

  • College Educated preferred.

  • Knowledge of working and comfortable navigating the city

  • Willingness to work with the parents to curate engaging and thoughtful experiences for children, not limited to outings and playdates.

  • Able to prepare healthy meals: knowledge of food introduction and developmental milestones.
